Positano | Where to Dine, Drink & Dessert

Breakfast

Collina Bakery - One of the best bakeries in town! We went here a few different mornings to pick up pastries and bring them back to the Villa. They also have great espresso and gelato!

Casa e Bottega - A super cute, trendy breakfast hub. The interior doubles as a boutique and restaurant (you will love what they sell...pillow cases, etc.). The food is super good and coffee is amazing! We stopped by here a few times to pick up coffee and even do a little shopping in the boutique. The owner of this restaurant owns two other business in Positano including a super cute kids store and another restaurant for dinner called Next 2

Cafe Positano - If you are looking for a super casual, American breakfast, this is your place! Cafe Positano serves up eggs, Croque Madam and even pancakes. With a stunning view right above the beaches of Positano, this is a great and casual place to grab breakfast out.

Lunch

Da Adolfo -  Amazing restaurant connected to the Da Adolfo beach club. They are cooking up some of the best pastas and fish around. I unfortunately did not have the chance to eat here, but my best friend Courtney did and said it was to die to for!

Casa e Bottega - As mentioned above, Casa e Bottega also serves us lunch!

La Sponda (Le Serinuse) - If you are not able to stay at the famous Le Serinuse hotel, the next best thing is spending an afternoon lunch on the grounds. If you do think this is something you want to do, make reservations ASAP. These spots are extremely hard to come by and walking in day of is not an option.

Puppeto Cafe Beach Restaurant - Great little beach club with some delicious lunch options. We had a grilled veggie plate that was unbelievable. My biggest suggestion here is to try the peach wine! It is so refreshing on a hot day and has real peaches in it.

Dinner

Chez Black - Famous for their heart shaped pizzas, Chez Black is a tourist favorite. I had their rose petal pasta and it was insanely good. I suggest making reservations ahead of time because tables can be hard to come by during peak tourist season.

La Tagliata - My absolute favorite restaurant in all of Positano. This is an experience you cannot leave without. The food is a preset menu by their chef, but if you have allergies, they will accommodate. From veggies, to pasta, to dips to meat, you are served more food than you could probably eat in a week. The best part about the restaurant is it is perched up on the hill with a view of all of Positano. The restaurant picks you up in a van and drives you about 20 minutes up the hillside. The night is filled with music, dancing and so much laughter your cheeks will hurt after. This is a great place to bring big groups, as it is really an experience you will never forget.

Villa Treville - A blogger's paradise I like to call it. The interior is decorated beautifully with a view of the ocean, located right on the cliffs. My suggestion would be to go to an hour or two before dinner to have drinks at their bar and enjoy the view, as it is incredible. Make sure you call to make reservations far in advance, as it is hard to get a table at this coveted spot. You also need dinner reservations to even have a drink at the bar, they are very strict about who gets to step foot in this exclusive Villa.

Da Vincenzo - One of the truly good meals we had in Positano. Although there is no view at this restaurant, the food and wait staff are the reason you go to this amazing spot. Located inside a cave, you feel tucked away from the traditional Positano scene. You can request outdoor or indoor seating depending on your preference. If they have any specials, I highly recommend trying one of those as they change daily based on what is fresh! This is another spot you need reservations far in advance.

Ristorante La Pergola - A very causal beach restaurant located next to Chez Black. We went here our first night in Positano when we wanted a quick, good meal. We had multiple pasta dishes and a large pizza, all tasted delicious and very traditional. They serve up some large portions, so it is a perfect place to order a few things and share as a family or group.

Drinks

Franco's Bar - Le Serinuse's bar! This place is very popular due to it's unobstructed views and yummy cocktails. My favorite cocktail is called the Huge, it is Prosecco, mint, St. Germain, gin and soda water. If you have plans to get a drink at Franco's, go early or else you will not get a seat!

Dessert

Collina Bakery - As mentioned above in the breakfast section,  Collina also has delicious gelato!
