Hidden Beach Clubs in Positano
There are so many beach clubs in Positano...but my goal is to always find the hidden ones. I want a beach club with easy access to the water, away from the hundreds of tourists and noise. I want to have some peace and quiet, sip some yummy cocktails and dunk in the water. Below are some of my top picks for beach clubs that are away from the crowds with great food and drinks!
**Pro Tip: Call in advance to reserve all of these beach clubs, as they do get completely booked during peak tourist times. You will also want to call ahead to make lunch reservations!
Pupetto Cafe Restaurant Beach Club
The Pupetto Beach Club is located on the secluded beach of Fornillo. Away from the traditional tourist scene, the Puppeto Beach Club is nestled between clifts with crystal clear water and great food.
How to get there:
Walk from the main town of Positano! There is a little path along the cliffs that will bring you right to the beach club.
villa Treville Beach Club
Well known for their Villa, Villa Treville also has a beach club! The beach club is located on a separate beach away from the Villa, so don't make the mistake of driving to the Villa instead of the beach club. This beach club shares the beach with Da Adolfo Beach Club, however, the Villa Treville side is much nicer and the water is cleaner. The food at Villa Treville is also wonderful, so make sure to make lunch reservations in advance!
How to get there:
The best way to get to this beach club is taking a boat from the Positano harbor. The boats arrive starting at 10am and come back every 30 minutes to pick up more people.
La Scogliera Beach Club
This is my favorite beach club of them all. It is so picturesque with the blue and white umbrellas against the blue ocean. You can walk down the steps to the water and even lay on big rafts in the water. If you want to go for a little swim, swim outside the buoys to the left and you will find a little hidden cove! The staff is super sweet and the food was also great. They mainly serve sandwiches, but they are huge and delicious! Drinks are yummy too. My favorite was The Hugo!
How to get there:
Easy walk from downtown Positano along the beach! If you are facing the water, walk all the way to the left to where you can't walk anymore and you will end up at La Scogliera.
Arienzo Beach Club
This beach club literally feels like you are in Jurastic Park. You have to walk down a steep path that leads you to a tunnel and you suddenly pop out on the beach in the middle of tons of trees and crystal clear water. It is honestly something out of a movie scene. If you are planning to go here, make sure you make lunch reservations ahead of time as they do get completely booked at peak times.
