How We Spent 2 Days in Austin, Texas
During our cross country move to Charleston from San Diego, one of our major pit stops was Austin, Texas! This was my first time visiting Austin, so most of the places we tried were recommendations from friends in the area. Unfortunately, we visited during the peak of the pandemic, so a lot of the places we wanted to try were closed. However, we had a great time and enjoyed all Austin had to offer!
Where We Stayed
Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt: We showed up the night of our stay without any reservations. Lucky for us, the hotel was almost empty due to the pandemic, so we got a room right away and got a free upgrade to a suite! The hotel is right in the heart of Austin in a great location to all the popular bars.
